At Home Pool Tables one of the most popular styles of pool tables we offer are pool diners. These tables convert from dining table to pool table by simply adding or removing the matching hard tops. It lets you house a games table without necessarily needing a dedicated space or home games room. Pool dining tables have thin cabinets that give you adequate legroom for seating. We offer some options for seating ourselves that are optimised to pair perfectly with these tables.
Cubes & Bench Seats
While you can use chairs with these tables, when you’re trying to play pool you’ll need to push them to the side of the room which can be unwieldly. Instead, we offer matching benches. With benches you simply slide them under the table when you’re playing pool or snooker and now you have a nice, clear room and ample playing area – playing into the advantages of a pool dining table to begin with. An added benefit of this is that you’ll need somewhere to put the hard tops when using the table as a pool table. You can prop them against the wall or in a matching table top stand. But, with benches you can simply put the tops on the benches under the table once again making the experience low profile and space efficient. We also offer pairs of cube seats. These fit perfectly at table ends and, like the benches, have no back so fit snug under the pool table when it’s being played. With a cube seat at each end and a bench on either side you can comfortably sit 8 people around your pool dining table.
Custom Seating For Custom Pool Dining Tables
In terms of aesthetics, our seats open up a whole new dimension of style and customisation. The benches are formed of 2 ends – any finish you like but most commonly people go for a finish identical to their table – with a padded upholstered section between. They’re comfortable, stylish and light. One advantage we didn’t foresee is that since the construction is so simple customers have replaced their tables or sold them on and kept the benches – simply replacing the ends with ones that match their new pool table or dining table. The customisation really comes in the upholstery. You can choose from real leathers or any from ILIV’s Rio range. The cubes don’t have matching ends but are fully ensconced in the premium upholstery. It’s the perfect balance of function, comfort and style.
We’re aware our seating options can appear on the pricey side however we don’t want to sacrifice our quality and – like our pool tables – are looking to sell you something that lasts a lifetime, not a season. To offset this we offer discounts on buying 2 benches together and deeper discounts on increasing quantities of cube seats.
